Can’t think of much else I’d rather not do than listen to Zane Lowe and Yeat for 66 minutes

  • When is the j cole interview tho?

  • This was actually really dope. He’s too overhated on here.

I don’t think I’ve ever heard him talk like a normal person nvm talk this much.

    Very hyped for the album

i mean within the first 5 minutes he admitted he never took rap or music serious until this album and is on year 3-4 of being a big artist so not much else needs to be heard past that. these dudes got rich off rap and realized they actually have to start trying lmfao. what a crazy experience and admittance to consider yourself to be a fan of

I didn’t really take it that way. He was just young, high af all the time enjoying himself making a crazy amount of songs and putting them out, not realizing his impact or how big artists move.

And now we’re seeing growth, as an artist and as a person.

Can’t really be mad at that.

Lot of artists just randomly get into music for the hell of it and get big

And plenty of artists that try so hard to be the most creative this and that end up making mid its not like a one-to-one correlation of good music happening bc u tried really hard

I genuinely want you to name me an artist who got into music “for the hell of it” and openly admitted that as a star in their genre because i do not think this take is true at all and is a lame cop out to save where we are at in music today

MGMT were only f***ing around making fun of indie synth-pop and ended up becoming the biggest artists of that genre
