“Drake called, said ‘I wanna put Thug on the album’” LMAO cap as f***
Drake cut 95% of Thug’s verse for his version
not cap... he still wanted Thug on there as it's a good look. doesn't mean he thought Thug's part was amazing and needed to be there.
Nigga do yall think people think the entire album is dissing literally.
Drake stans do
The album had songs dissing drake and the rollout is now seen as dudes dissing drake lol
That’s what happened
Real talk drake coulda ignored Like that for a couple months and just do his usual subliminal ish no one woulda cared but he got gassed by outside voices
Yeah he could’ve completely avoided all of this with just a witty subliminal and everything that followed would’ve never happened
Even if Kendrick would’ve dissed him again, it would’ve just made him look desperate
I remember Problem or someone saying Kendrick wasn’t even gonna respond to pushups and Taylor made if it wasn’t for the constant social media nagging
Nigga do yall think people think the entire album is dissing literally.
Yes we were responding to someone literally saying this
Real said on the night of the beef between Family Matters and Meet The Grahams that they got kicked out of a gc where all that info comes from. From that moment on they just started posting their personal opinion (which coincidentally has been anti Drake since his tap got turned off) no insider bs, don't give a f*** what Real said.
sure the Drake UMG lawsuit can easily just be a distraction / tantrum but it can easily be because elements of it are true too we just don't know.. and you right about his chickens coming home to roost so it all lined up but I don't think it's as simple as he was bad to all of these guys.
I think there are jus loads and loads of pieces to this, it's not easy to say for sure what happened unless we have the full picture. Kendrick comes out of nowhere realising this is the time now, he signs a new contract around the same time, Young Thug good friends with all of these guys still sees nuance on Drake's side, it's just too many things we don't know about why who where.
Future, Weeknd and Metro were probably in the studio talking about this s*** and said “you know who else hates that nigga”. Then they called Kendrick up.
Kendrick and future got the same manager.
This makes way more sense than a UMG coordinated take down. That’s some TV s***. Way too many variables involved that could’ve went wrong for UMG.
Look im guys im gonna try to simplify
Most adults have multiple things to deal with at all times.
That amplifies when ur Drake metro boomin etc
What happened is two people had conflict of interests, (personal and business) soured on one another and decided to make their stances public
UMG/kendrick is a situation outside of this
If Kendrick knew he could have given us this metro info during the beef
We wouldn’t be needing to get it from some leaked young thug prison call 😂
Thank god Drake’s close confidant Ian Connor cleared this up! Thank god Drake stays in contact with such a great man so that we can get some closure on this!!
tf did he say? lol
Yeah he could’ve completely avoided all of this with just a witty subliminal and everything that followed would’ve never happened

come on, you gotta give credit to the fact, he stepped up to the plate. Kendrick did the same by responding. They gave the people what they wanted. Everyone wanted the beef. They both did themselves.
It wasn't something that should've been ignored.
“Nigga if u don’t get yo musty ah back, talkin bout an album??
”
Thug will go from saying he understand Drake to full on cooking him seamlessly lmao
Atlanta niggas talk s*** bout everybody gang
Drake stans do
Nah nigga with the first song being a drake diss and even them thinking the title is about him
But no one thibk the nigga is the topic of every song. Yall be mad at nothing
If Drakes mom died we’d probably have a 1st day died freestyle out by end of business day
Anyone siding with Drake here is lost
I am a Drake fan and post alot defending him but I'd be dancing on his demise if he did that s*** to me.
His mom died man, its f***ed
Y'all are weirdos, man.
"If Drake did that s*** to me". Y'all are talking like Drake insulted Metro's late mother. He asked Metro for a song at the worst possible time which was in terrible taste (again, he only asked when he did because of when Honestly, Nevermind was set to drop. And he asked Metro for his permission to put his version of the song out).
While that's totally a valid reason for Metro to not give him the song and to stop f***ing with him, it's not a valid enough reason for Metro to crash out and do all he did.

Niggas want this to be a mob boss movie so bad which usually the most simplest answer is the right answer

yeah like if it was really an issue, they wouldn’t have blocked Kendrick on the Clipse album too lol
“Drake called, said ‘I wanna put Thug on the album’” LMAO cap as f***

Drake likes shortening Thug’s contributions to songs. Yall probably don’t know this but young thug had a longer verse on Ice Melts and Signs.

Oh wait, btw I'm not saying UMG got this all together beforehand, and it's some grand plan in advance. I completely agree that the way it started could be as simple as them calling Kendrick up because they all had mutual dislike.
I do think during the process the label got involved though and there's more to all of their individual relationships that we just don't know, that's all.
Y'all are weirdos, man.

It's 100% a reason to crash out.
I would crash out and hate the f***er who did that to me
