Real said on the night of the beef between Family Matters and Meet The Grahams that they got kicked out of a gc where all that info comes from. From that moment on they just started posting their personal opinion (which coincidentally has been anti Drake since his tap got turned off) no insider bs, don't give a f*** what Real said.
sure the Drake UMG lawsuit can easily just be a distraction / tantrum but it can easily be because elements of it are true too we just don't know.. and you right about his chickens coming home to roost so it all lined up but I don't think it's as simple as he was bad to all of these guys.
I think there are jus loads and loads of pieces to this, it's not easy to say for sure what happened unless we have the full picture. Kendrick comes out of nowhere realising this is the time now, he signs a new contract around the same time, Young Thug good friends with all of these guys still sees nuance on Drake's side, it's just too many things we don't know about why who where.

Most adults have multiple things to deal with at all times.
That amplifies when ur Drake metro boomin etc
What happened is two people had conflict of interests, (personal and business) soured on one another and decided to make their stances public
UMG/kendrick is a situation outside of this
If Kendrick knew he could have given us this metro info during the beef
We wouldn’t be needing to get it from some leaked young thug prison call 😂

come on, you gotta give credit to the fact, he stepped up to the plate. Kendrick did the same by responding. They gave the people what they wanted. Everyone wanted the beef. They both did themselves.
It wasn't something that should've been ignored.

And he asked Metro for his permission to put his version of the song out).
While that's totally a valid reason for Metro to not give him the song and to stop f***ing with him, it's not a valid enough reason for Metro to crash out and do all he did.

Oh wait, btw I'm not saying UMG got this all together beforehand, and it's some grand plan in advance. I completely agree that the way it started could be as simple as them calling Kendrick up because they all had mutual dislike.
I do think during the process the label got involved though and there's more to all of their individual relationships that we just don't know, that's all.
