He wasn’t literally in every playlist I thought? Definitely shoehorned into some though (workout ones, genre adjacent) & was the cover of every playlist.

I think people are ignoring as well like other artists do “look” up to his numbers and the whole “Drake Stimulus” thing too, not to say he’s never or didn't enjoy the fruits of botting. The way Thug spoke so casually about it, the other industry mentions around it make clear that it’s pretty much industry practice. But I think it’s cope to act like he’s only that big because of it.

Like I said shoehorned into some and was the cover of all. Very clear that it was a big promotional run that was paid for, idk what more there is to say about it.

He wasn't in "every playlist" per se but you couldn't browse Spotify back in 2018 without seeing his face plastered everywhere and oddly enough, people were reporting that his music kept creeping up in their playlists uninvited

You think I'm exaggerating about him being featured in gospel & soul playlists but it's true utterly ridiculous

I'm more impressed most of them are different shots

Most of the industry bots. The spotify numbers never matched the real world hype for most of these artists. It was pretty obvious for anyone paying attention. Drake at his peak has 82 million monthly spotify listeners and yet is always top 3 most daily streamed. The guy posts his abs and it dominates the hip-hop news cycle. His numbers have never seemed out of the ordinary or randomly wacky compared to a Doecci or Kendrick. I think most of these pop girlies bot too

The fact they have the nerve to talk about Payola and bots lol

And The Weeknd who’s also consistently Top 5 most streamed is somehow an obvious botter

You're free to point out when drake randomly lost 35 million spotify listeners or when his numbers randomly deviated from the usual

His spotify monthly listeners has always been in the 100s of millions, yet his total daily streams doesn't usually match bad bunny, taylor, or drake. Also you can compare his spotify numbers to how much his albums chart on apple music. He performs much better on spotify, the more easily botted platform. After the Billboard Nav fiasco, i didn't anyone on XO benefit of doubt

Some of them have moved the goal post from "botting is a conspiracy" to "well, it exists but everyone does it"

lowkey, i naively believed numbers didn't matter until everyone changed their tune when Kendrick started doing well. Now that kojo is on the run and the numbers are coming back down, I won't let them forget

  • Sep 1, 2025

If anyone is using bots more than anyone else, it’s Drake. He’s the only huge artist that still hasn’t stepped foot in a stadium. That’s suspicious
