Didn’t he record this in a crazy short amount of time after being bailed out from jail?

Yup. Released from jail, straight to the studio. Craziest part is how he recorded. He would hear the beat, record his verse, allow others to record their verses etc.. and then would be like "next!" and would hear the finished version of the song the following day. What an insane method

Love this s*** to death and it's one of my favorite albums but can't pretend it wasn't dragged down too many pointless outlaw features. Imagine songs like trading war stories fully done by Pac holy s***...

    rather late

Picture Me Rollin would be the best hiphop song ever bar none if it was all Pac verses

At least should've replaced big syke with kurupt on it, like they did on the remix from some posthumous compilation

  • Honestly only has like 1 or 2 skips for me

Got My Mind Made Up was initially a lukewarm track for me, kind of boring. With time it's become one of my favorites and one of the GOAT posse cuts for me. Pac's verse is all time, the way Daz brightens up the colors when he starts. Method Man's verse is one of my favorites ever lol and Kurupt kills it as usual, as do the others. Hook is catchy. Fun ass track man, pure prime East Coast

Love the version with decks full verse too

For sure. If it was Pac by himself it may have been the greatest piece of music ever made. He made it fair for the rest

My dad was from Brooklyn so it was like sacrilegious to listen to Pac growing up but listening to this album the first s*** 9 song run is like all time good man. What a f***ing album
