masterful album, its insane how quickly he was able to churn songs / hits out in such a short amount of time and how intentional everything is on here, nothing sounds samey at all either unlike most albums of this length nowadays
a project ive learn to appreciate more lately after playing strictly pac for a few months + some research
Where were you doing Pac research?
Picture Me Rollin would be the best hiphop song ever bar none if it was all Pac verses
Yeah The features on this album really downgrade the album for me unfortunately

Go thru his discography. Watch his interviews. That’s the best source material to research 2pac startin off
Love this s*** to death and it's one of my favorite albums but can't pretend it wasn't dragged down too many pointless outlaw features. Imagine songs like trading war stories fully done by Pac holy s***...
I’ve learned to like the Outlawz as I got older. Too many of them passed away for me to throw around the word “pointless” on they name.
Peace God
Method man went crazy on that
In an interview he said he was high off magic mushrooms before spitting that verse. I can definitely see it lowkey

interviews, death row documentaries, forum surfing

Yea thats not a sober flow

Also would like to add to this. Everyone should watch the All Eyez On Me documentary. It’s essentially a “making of” of the album and it features everything. The art direction being presented the rollout, they even take you on a journey to photoshoots and the build up and BTS of the iconic nude bathtub shoot. Also watch ALL of his movies. He was a serious natural star man. Like was def gana be better/bigger than ice and will crossover to movies

It does, it’s called Me Against the World
Lowkey his best album tbh. It’s either this or 7 day theory

Big Syke >>>> Outlawz tbf
but yeah the other guy on that joint isn't great
fair assessment I agree with the overall consensus that there's some weak features and a couple weaker tracks on this that weigh it down a bit but the highs are pretty awesome and I'd say it's definitely his most "popular" album

I used to be in that camp, but as I get older I just appreciate this album more. It’s such a big swing and he pulls it off.

Bro dropped an album of mass appeal then cooked up the 7day theory to feed the real hip-hop fiends . Genius move.
Went through entire album on a long drive today and the only tracks I don't love are No More Pain, What's Ya # and When We Ride. And What's Ya # is the only one I'd truly say is a definite skip. 2-3 skips max imo

Same. Still think MATW is his most "perfect" album but the one I play the most is AEOM and I appreciate more each passing year
