The half-time show since 2011 has either been nostalgia acts who have a ton of hits that mainstream audiences remember (Usher, Shakira/JLo, Dre + friends, Coldplay) or currently popular acts (Katy Perry, Gaga, Weeknd, now Kendrick). Wayne just doesn’t fall into either category.
