That's bad pacing not filler. Dbz's pacing never felt as bad to me as some people make it out to be tho.

I also deliberately said db and not dbz because of the pacing. I don't get why you think the length of the source material matters, you can add filler to anything.

the first season was decent I felt. Its got a neat concept although I feel Hai to Gensou no Grimgar is a better direction for that whole "gotta fight monsters to make a living" concept.

Still I think Dungeon is a fun show for the first season atleast. The second made honestly zero progression with anything and I dropped it after a few eps.

Hai to Gensou no Grimgar probably the best isekai I’ve watched in the last decade. Need to get back into the LN. it should really be the golden standard imo.

Yea I’m getting Solo Leveling vibes from DanMachi but not to that overblown extent. His progress is still somewhat tamed compared to most other isekais. Although this technically isn’t an isekai I think.
