hey y'all :)

i'm looking for recommendations

its not easy to ask for what i'm looking for like a lot of u iv'e been an anime fan for years and iv'e seen most of the big ones and a lot of the little ones so it's not really worth me giving the lsit of everything iv'e seen or anything

but idk i'd like some recs that aren't the usual top 20 that you get everywhere online

my only thing is that i dont really care for cute girls doing things, the closest i've seen to that is auron high school and that was pretty nice but idk doesn't really do it for me

something like GTO would b cool too but im not necesarily going for slice of life or anything (in fact overall i dont love them)

anyway pls help me find cool new shows and restore the feeling :))

i watch some of durarara but it didnt really grab me (a few years ago) can you explain why you liked it?

it hard to say what i've seen like for the last 4 years i reckon i've been caught up seasonally, and things i like really depends off top i'd like something like no game no life or made in abyss and im watching the korean show rn and demon slayer

basically any recs are cool thank you for the rec

You should look into making a MyAnimeList or Anilist account or something for the future. If you've seen as much anime as you say you have then having one of those will be useful so people can see what you've seen and haven't seen before they make recs.

yeah i mean i should but its kind of the same thing as making a RYM

im too lazy

also i wouldn't say i've seen that much but like im happy just to talk about any anime that maybe i'd like

just rec one that u think is good and if i've seen it ill tell u what i think and if i havent i might check it

Beastars i heard alot about and i think i'll check it but being all furry makes me not want to

casshern sins is exaclty the type of thing i made his post for, never heard of it, keen to check it

sora no woto has a lot of cute girls but idk looks cozy might check

I'm curious why you don't like shows that has cute girls as the main characters. I feel like you'll end up missing out on a lot of good shows if a character's gender is going to prevent you from liking it.

Durarara, in my opinion, did a great job building up an interesting world in Ikebukuro and handling introducing a large cast of characters and connecting them all to a greater story arc at the very end.

i think it was some stuff about headless horsemen that turned me off but maybe i misjudged

like i loved madoka magica (didnt finish the sequel tho) and made in abyss

just usually doesnt do it for me (its not a gnder thing) i just dont like those shows usually from what i've seen

also i really vibe with goood action schemes and colour palletes its not like im excluding them they just arent my faves

i've got other s***ty opinons like not like code geass too (unrelated but idk)

really would like to find a good equivalent to GTO
