no it doesn’t lmao, syncing is fast asf nowadays

also your other criticism is meaningless. “they make you sync your library to sync your playlists” isn’t a negative

your entire point of view is like you just came out of a 10 year coma

ive done multiple trials w AM since 2016.. there are other aspects that are still slow

"meaningless".. other services dont necessitate integrating your personal library, let alone as a prerequisite to making a simple in-app playlist. i prefer keeping the two separate.. so, it's a negative to me.

and this is before getting into the inferior ui, lack of innovative features/quality human curation and zionist ties.

other streaming services weren’t built on music library apps in the first place

the entire appeal of AM is that it’s augmented by your personal library with seamless integration

& all the other stuff is just preferences (even the last, every streaming service has those. one’s not more moral than the other)

to ur first point.. whos fault is that? lol

& jus cus thats the appeal doesnt mean i have to like it

"just preferences".. this entire back n forth has been about subjective s***. and i call bs cus no, not every streaming service is buying israeli tech startups for $2 billion, sending out $10K donations to zionist advocacy groups and funding drones4genocide. there's levels to it, not finna pretend otherwise.

either way that's a weak fallacy argument cus the title of the thread says it all

first point, it’s not a “fault” because it’s not a negative, which ties into the second point. that’s literally the appeal. you don’t have to like it, but that is why most people choose AM over other services.

re:“subjective s***” i mean yea but i don’t put effort into preference arguments, choose what you want idc.

& yea i’m not defending Apple for any of that

thread title was just op confused at his phone app temporarily glitching thinking his entire library got wiped

it is a fault, cus as i said.. it doesn't appeal to ^me.
thats all there is to care about when comes to a service

most" people choose AM simply cus of convenience. its already on their iphone and has the inherited goodwill / status symbolism that comes with any Apple product.

this whole thing is a low effort argument about preference that u started. spare me the nonchalance

nonetheless as u/others point out, all streaming is almost inevitably privy to some kind of enshittification or moral quandary, so op's title is still apt

idc what your preference is, i only interacted with your original post bc it mentioned a glitch from like 2015/2016 that i haven’t seen in a decade
