Wheres the love for DUCKWORTH.
one of Kendricks best songs
it's in a previous thread where i wrote a 4000+ something words appreciation post
it's one of my definate favs of the album. With how Kendrick whilst telling a story slowly plays with the concept of possibility and how a single non-premidated action can entirely change the course of life, by sheer co-incidence. "Top Dawg could be servin life while i grew up without a father dying in a gunfi- BOOM"
Concept is brazy enough itself but the music and THAT LAST BEATSWITCH
compliments the emotion and sentiment so well

See once upon a time inside the Nickerson Garden projects
The object was to process and digest poverty's dialect
This one is dope also
Never seen this s***. That was crazy.
i really love to see when people as about his craft as Kendrick etc use their go-to words to buy time and the certain rhymeschemes they have memorized, but flip differently etc in freestyles. it's so playful and let's you know they invested so much in honing their skills
That’s the best part. You can tell which words he has retained to memory.

exactly
really humanizing (not sure if it's the right word but you know what i mean) too see
It's no TPAB or GKMC but not much is. Still a great album

top 5 hip hop album of the last decade and Kdots best

Replay value. At least for me. Play it more than his other projects at the moment so I'd say it's my favorite. But not necessarily best

s60 has more classic tracks than any other kendrick project but more than a few I never play, tpab and gkmc just pretty boring and especially tpab not a style of production I enjoy
Mid

same here
i don't listen to a whole lot of TPAB songs by themselves, except for a handful. i listen to TPAB for the most part when i want to experience the album (because the experience of the whole projects narrative, sequence etc GOES
) or a lot of it you know, (and especially being in the mood/mindset for it) but with DAMN. for instance, i find that any of the songs can go at any time, after any song
lust, fear, duckworth pride, some of his best songs ever. yah one of my favorites, xxx powerful, love the second half with U2 lyrically, GOD great, element great
