same here i don't listen to a whole lot of TPAB songs by themselves, except for a handful. i listen to TPAB for the most part when i want to experience the album (because the experience of the whole projects narrative, sequence etc GOES ) or a lot of it you know, (and especially being in the mood/mindset for it) but with DAMN. for instance, i find that any of the songs can go at any time, after any song

probably the biggest kendrick fan on here and i agree lol
damn. is easiest one to listen to for me
kendrick lamar ep comes after damn. for me
those aren't necessarily his best but i find myself coming back to those projects the most
that run from kendrick lamar ep to damn. tho

    you right
you know what, first time i listened to DAMN. my first impression was that it felt a lot like the Kendrick Lamar LP just in terms of (gonna keep it short af, i dont want another 4000+ word count i can't post situation ) just in terms of finding yourself and all of... that stuff... lol (too short tbh )

damn tour was crazy, he brought Travis along and both of their performances were nuts

i also remember staying up with my friends waiting for nation to drop so many fond memories of this album so I'll always fw it, YAH, XXX and ELEMENT probably my top 3

do you mean my emoji flip, or my actual reaction in real life or your reaction too fam realizing the bottle clinking wasn't a percussive effect but an actual bottle when you can hear him crying in between the verses and the bottle somehow has a percussive bounce that adds to the music

never thought about his next NEXT lp like, the thought literally never crossed my mind till you just said that
It better start off with him tweeting something like this
    "The Heart Part 5"
    THEN
"The mind part1", " The body part1", "The Soul part1"
jokes aside, the thought of what Kendrick will be doing over these next years musically is intriguing AF

Think about it. If he was finished with this new one. More than likely he started on the next. He started every album almost right after the other one was released.

for sure, no doubt. i just never had the thought, i was always thinking about just his next what you said makes the most sense ofc. like, he always had Good Kid Maad City in his head (in songs too even) waay before it was released. and how he spoke on wanting to do the sounds and styles on TPAB for his first album or something, but didn't have the courage. can totally see him going left field in terms of production, styles and themes as good as his discog, and solidified as he is i firmly believe he hasn't hit a peak yet (not like, hitting a peak, then falling of, past ones prime type s***) but just going above and beyond all expectations, exceeding himself
