I think so but at the same time I’m not sure that era of his career is commercially big enough for them to put all the money in

Sure we ended up with one covering Never Let Me Down let alone a redo version of that of all things, it was artistically a low but Bowie made banks in that era so they can sell it, based off of Let’s Dance alone, and Labyrinth etc

But from after that I don’t know? it would be a fan treat tho, one I fantasize of

If they just put all what’s left in one now that will be a much commercial bigger appeal with the addition of TND and Blackstar and the chances of them adding his final songs on it

My french goat Daniel Belivacqua aka Christophe just passed away after weeks of fighting the corona virus... I’m devastated and hurting so bad

I know this is not the thread and no one will care to look into him as he’s a foreigner to most of you but I just wanted to share some of the photos his daughter took of him in his own studio where he kept millions things from trips and friends, lot of stuff with history and stories behind them, which included multiple photos of David Bowie in memory

Christophe started in the early sixties before Bowie even as a pop singer, he had a big hit Aline which is today still a classic in France’s pop culture

Throughout the seventies he always pushed for more sounds, he fell in love with keys mostly, but did some jazz here and there, had his dip into the prog and concept era, some hard rock guitar riffs and solos, and within the 80s had lot of fun with synths and explored even more his love for the keys as he played more and more piano himself and what not, he always played around and experimental with the upcoming sounds and machine, he stated recently he wished he had all that we have today in term of technology, like it’s everything he dreamt of!

In the 90s he even touched some techno, always looking to what was new exciting and challenging his own audience, yet his songwriting always remained the same romantic melancholic touch and his crystal pure high pitched voice has never fell off until his last days, which is pretty rare (on some of his many hits you could think it’s a girl sometimes singing)

In his later days he even went to play with auto tune and collaborating with such acts as Alan Vega (yes, of the cult band Suicide!) and unknown upcoming very young artists from the indie scene, he always had one foot in a traditional or should i say popular style and another in the avant gradiste and new talents, which is why he was for me the french Bowie in some ways

He would even during his last shows play Aline but redone based upon Radiohead’s Creep, also did some scores for some movies, I like to call him an owl because he never lived by the day, he woke up and worked at night only

Speaking of Bowie and all that clique, he even on his last studio album made tribute song to Lou Reed:

(I’d like to think that Bowie inspired him to make this photo)

I’ll make you some playlist if you want

i mean it was a gross situation all around,

but out of all the s*** that happened in the seventies, that was far from the worst,

esp. when u look into who she was... but i mean. I'm not here to defend bowie doing s*** like that or criticize either party involved, nor blame it on the d****.

There was just some weird s*** going on at the time, and young girls were getting caught up in this rock s***.

edit: ppl in this thread basically already said all this-my bad lol
