Social media is a valid indicator of who won the beef and who had the best track?

Yes because that's what everyone on here is using to give Kendrick the W.

So if everyone on social media is saying Kendrick won, how could Kendrick won if he doesn't have the best track?

You just told me most people consider Family Matters the best song of this beef. How else are we going to determine that, OP of the charts thread, formerly known as the "Kendrick stans are setting themselves up for disappointment with their unrealistic expectations" thread?

Oh, I'm dealing with another idiot. Got it.

Kendrick’s wife didn’t come out once and post a simple “ f*** drake talkin about? “

All she had to do was DEFEND. Kendrick 1 time to shut it down and she didn’t lol

if this was flipped around they would be parading the numbers, streams and chart positions on here to hell and back as a sign that he won the beef

    zero integrity 😝

We know what it is. Kendrick got OP of a Kendrick hate thread that was repurposed to the sales thread saying "Who cares about the numbers?? "

if Drake had a hit that had everyone singing along to it calling him a domestic abuser, a cheater, fake black savior, whatever else, we all know who would be crowned the victor 😏

maybe don’t champion numbers for years upon years as some sort of signifier of quality 😏

So if everyone on social media is saying Kendrick won, how could Kendrick won if he doesn't have the best track?

Because many people who are saying he won are also saying Family Matters is the best track from the beef.

How does that mean it was fumbled? We got the CDQ version the same day the leaked version of the song dropped. That's like saying because Duppy Freestyle/TSOA were never on DSPs, they didn't count.

These are the stupid goalposts y'all were moving for Kendrick from day 1 and y'all are here acting like Drake ever had a chance lmao.

I don’t get why you’re so angry about every differing opinion I’ve spent 95% of my time in here because I wanted Drake to win but I’m not going to lie about s***. He’s my GOAT but all of his moves were flawed to a degree. Drake literally said on Push Ups “numbers wise I’m out of here yall not f***ing keeping up” and got f***ing lapped so I’m just taking what came out of the horses mouth but you’re talking about moving goalposts 🪞

Kendrick didn't dog-walk Drake at ANY point in this battle. That's a disingenuous-ass take.

You'd think Drake only dropped Push Ups the way some of you are going but I get it.

    Aye look

I know you a Drake sxn OG and you gonna side with Drake no matter what I say so it’s all love, but I gotta keep it a stack with you

Push ups was good, great diss to get things going but lyrically and flow wise that was light work for Drake and as a Drake fan you should know that better than anyone else. Also the production was mid. Taylor Made freestyle was fire but the whole theme of the record was Kendrick being scared to drop so once he actually did drop it took away a lot of the bite from that record. Then we have Family Matters which was technically impressive for sure and production was great but he barely dissed Kendrick in the 2nd verse which diluted the potency of the diss. Burried alive is pretty much negligible bc it’s a min long and only 10 people heard it. Finally we have THP6 which is a masterclass lyrically imo but his lethargic, defensive and defeated tone killed the record. Drake lost, fam. Drake lost

Lending credence to those allegations doesn’t do you much good in rap beef - which is Drake’s mistake in THP6.

  • May 12, 2024

All I know is that we all agreed Meek lost and didn't have to bring up numbers. Pusha won and never dropped TSOA on DSPs but now, Kendrick wins because his diss tracks charted higher than Drake's diss tracks.

So how he sounded > what he actually said? Gotcha.

what I said the whole time is heart part 6 was a sloppy defensive track nd doesn't even warrant a response. there's nothing to address, s***s done for now. Drake got way too much ego to say he is done 💯 but you can read between the lines

just waiting for him to sub Kendrick endlessly in his next few records like pusha

What are we even talking about?

euphoria dropped and got a mixed reception so Kendrick doubled down with 6:16 in LA, which also got a mixed reception. MTG is more notable for it dropped right after Family Matters than for it being an actual great diss track, considering the fact that there's no daughter like Kendrick claims on the song and NLU is a bottom-barrel attempt at a hit record by Kendrick that's so out of his wheelhouse, it sounds weird.

You can't step on a song like Family Matters because it's just that great. So great that most people regard it as the best song out of this whole beef.

I didn't see this mixed reception to either of those 2 Kendrick songs anywhere I myself thought Euphoria could've been better after my first listen and I felt out of place because I kept seeing praise for it everywhere

Drake addressed his allegations and somehow independently turned the conversation to Jeffery Epstein and Millie Bobby Brown, putting him in an even worse position

So numbers-wise, across their careers, Kendrick is seeing Drake?

How are we ignoring Kendrick stepping on his own releases because they weren't hitting the mark with people?! He dropped 4 diss tracks in 4 days because none of them were getting the job done and finally stopped when one of them became a hit but according to y'all, those were flawlessly-timed moves

  • YANDHI

This is Drake's fault tho he's the one who hyped future tracks first By the time we're a few days after Push Ups Drake's already talking about his future 3rd diss at Kendrick on Taylor Made, rushing him to reply and telling everyone he's waited 10 years for this.

Kendrick saw through the whole thing and just anticipated what Drake would do right to the point of being able to diminish his red button less than an hour after release.

Drake's issue is he's predictable and telegraphed his entire plan.

I never said it wasn’t his fault though

There are things he could have done better, for sure.

I’m just saying it was kind of inevitable if Kendrick’s play was Not Like Us

similar to the origin of the sales thread, that nigga seeks out tweets that aligns with their views and opinions, and then calls everyone else an idiot or deluded when dawg literally paints a narrative solely out of cherry picked tweets

lives an entirely alternate reality of their own making it’s really sad

I agree it was stupid to add those specific bars, but IF he did not defend himself, ppl would ask why?
So what’s he suppose to do here exactly, before he even made that song ppl were bugging out saying well drake didn’t defend being a pedo, so when he did, narrative flipped and said “oh f*** he sound even weirder addressing it now!!!!”
So what’s the right angle you’re supposed to do here?

He was applying pressure the same way Drake was when he was taunting him to drop

TDE's camp were calling media folks out because they weren't gassing euphoria. Cam and Mase said people called them up because they didn't rate euphoria highly. Crooked I made a whole video calling media folks out for not finding euphoria great lol. It happened lol.

This argument would work if he wasn’t actively going toe to toe with Drake… but he was. He was releasing songs back and forth with the other rapper he was sparring with. Say what you want about the numbers, the allegations, industry politics, whatever -

We have NEVER seen a response to a heavy hitter song the magnitude of Family Matters within an hour before. That was the knockout punch.
