gamma could have drake and ye on the same label INDEPENDENTLY... that would be powerful
and Travis Scott is Larry Jackson’s dream signing
I’m glad he got his album addressing everything with Iceman. I hope it gave him some closure and his next main album he can move on from it

yeah gonna be dope to see drake free from umg and free from the BS
He thought this through
idk who half these niggas is is my point lol.
pretending like you don't know those 4 people
if you lying you flying first class
It also makes sense that drake gave 3 albums in exchange for finishing his contract.
I'd imagine that they flat out said if he wanted completely off the label that albums like $$$ and Her Loss don't count.
Drake went from Ja Rule to something that ascended in record time
Greatest rapper of all time (after Wayne)

I've only heard one naomi sharon song and it sounded pretty derivative and boring to me dawg
I mean... is that true though? Sure, none of the other artists have experienced massive commercial success, but does that mean the label is poorly run? Seems like the artists aren't displeased and can drop the music they want to drop with regularity. We only know what we know I guess but I just don't see a lot of evidence to make the claim that it hasn't been "good ran"
Oh so now numbers don’t matter?
I think going indie instead of signing to another major is the move
Yup its time. He big enough to do it correctly
Would be interesting to see what he drops without any label influence
Wouldn’t be much different
reserved and not for sale
edit: taking offers.

Underrated post!
Oh so now numbers don’t matter?
The f*** are you on about? Numbers matter for determining commercial success. We are talking about whether labels are well-run or not
if you really paid attention to the previous episode you would be able to put it all together and why he used the specific word “legacyy” this is all about legacyy
The concept of indie Drake has been fascinating for a decade now
Can't wait to see how it goes
The f*** are you on about? Numbers matter for determining commercial success. We are talking about whether labels are well-run or not
And what’s the job of a label?….

Can someone further explain
The artist’s fabulously successful catalog is said to be remaining with Universal.
I thought Drake owned his catalog?
Do y'all think he'll go indie or sign with another major?
Prob sign with another major or have some kind of a good partnership with them - Sony
I think if Drake wanted to be purely independent, he could've/would've/should've done so many years ago. There's so much s*** these labels do that is hard to capture as a pure independent.
