From Soft releases all their ingame features as part of the experience. Not to ignore 90% of it cause some nerds need to be elitest.

The difficulty unites every player in their struggle. No matter who how and when beating Malenia is the same to everybody thats why watching Kai and new players is so fun. Cause it shows you your own progress and where you came from as a beginner and you also reminisce the feeling about playing the game for the first time secondhand. Atleast in my opinion
