good thread sometimes I dont like how Berserk fans try to see Berserk in every single corner of From Software games.
We all know Miyazaki has huge amounts of respect for Kentaro Miura and references him frequently. That doesnt make every single character griffith tho and every character with black armor Guts. Miura also didnt invent the european middle ages with all due respect
Playing for the first few hours - You know I think in the base game Limgrave is almost a little bit too big.
it didnt feel like that on the first playthrough but they really gave us soo much freedom in that first area. They probably wanted beginners to give them all the options possible and not get stuck
In the DLC which will be lategame content I kinda expect them to be more harsh and cornered in the open world design
Lmaoooo the dogs, the birds, the rot.. it’s a hellscape
the ball bearing hunter

me fr fr
Miquella been my favorite character even in the base game and we didnt even meet the guy. Insanely hyped character
I’ll be honest I never really finished my first playthrough . I restarted and it’s been amazing so far from not playing like a year and a half.
Using a map and doing everything again .

Taking a wrong turn and heading to Dragonbarrow where there’s all those damn dragons.

Found a little tree the dragons can’t get through and I slowly kill them
the first time i played the game i did most of it out of order and missed a few important things
my second time i used Fextralife and it feels great - similar to playing Zelda OoT with the official Primaguide

Ahh very nice. Whats the last boss you fought?
Beat godric like Wednesday and haven’t really found a clear direction to go forward yet. Just exploring.

here are a ton of amazing, well designed builds:

Been watching these to prep. I hate that I love the Darkmoon Spellblade build. aesthetically it’s so pleasing but too similar to my initial build 😭😩
Never really thought about it but just did it in my latest playthrough; it’s crazy you can complete ranni’s quest line without even entering leyndell for the first time
Bout to go smack morgott lmao

do you suggest going blind in my first playthrough or should I follow this?
do you suggest going blind in my first playthrough or should I follow this?
Go blind wtf try not to look anything up. If you feel extremely stuck maybe glance at something but the feeling of discovery and adventure in these games is literally like 80% of the experience

yeah her quest is end of Liurnia but before Mt. Gelmir and Altus, essentially its
Limgrave/Weeping to Stormhill
Liurnia to Ranni, then to Siofra
then back to Ranni, then Caelid
Kill Radahn and move the stars
go underground through new hole
then back to Ranni in Liurnia
then port to underground again
then up to Moonlight Altar
then go down the Cathedral
and Ranni quest is finished
all without ever going up to Altus
I think holy damage will finally pop off in the DLC since it seems like enemies of the golden order have kinda been imprisoned under the shadow.
I think fire damage won’t work as well so RIP blasphemous blade

I think naturally people will probably explore atlus beforehand since some of the bosses you have to face in her line are much higher than Liurnia level. In fact I’m curious when the guide says Nokstella/underground recommends to go there. You can get I think like up to +8 somber and smithing stones through her quest which is damn near end game
Also gotta explore atlus to get the magic scorpion charm before finishing her quest.
