When he does it's spinning in the air bs lock off and spam dodge towards it. I also used a shield with high lightning damage negation cuz that's what got me the most

what build you running? playing this dlc makes me wanna do the same I been thinking of going heavy into faith and dex or lean heavy into the dragon stuff

I played the dlc with a dex/int build, katana in my main hand and staff in my off hand. I’m really not sure yet about my new playthrough, but I think ima steal your idea about the dragon incant build and try something with faith/arcane tbh, I never tried the dragon stuff before. Rn I’m working with a greatsword and sacred seal combo, just kinda exploring new s***.

• Divine Lion ice phase music „drop“
• Discovering all the hidden passageways and layers of the map
• Finding Scadutree Avatar
• The entire Shadow Keep and Messmer fight
• Igon and the Bayle quest also thought the dragon communiun priestess was awesome
• Finding St. Trina
• The entire Enir Ilim area and especially discovering the Euporia weapon
• The MoF quest
• The Abyssal woods mansion and Midra
• The Shaman Village

Weak moments:

• Gaios Fight and especially the area after leading to the cool building but does nothing
• finding the divine lion a second time
• Weird scadutree fragments placement. Shouldve absolutely been a reward for beating minor bosses like in sekiro.
• Beautiful areas being kinda underutilized.
• All the recycled dragon bosses
• No Lore on Torrent

I'm at Abyssal Woods and it's genuinely terrifying, I'm not sure I'd want to play a From Soft horror game lmao

SPOILERS FOR THE ROCKY MOUNTAIN IN THE SOUTH EAST OF THE MAP
I defeated Bayle, one of the best fights from has ever made, possibly better than placidusax. In contention for best dragon fight ever, never really had camera issues aside from when we found ourselves in the edges of the arena, happened rarily fortunately. Simply incredible. I skipped senessax tho, the only from boss ive skipped since the Blue smelter demon in dark souls 2\. Bullshit asset re-use. I decided i'll cheese the f\*\*\* out of him after beating the elden beast lmao, he dont deserve a fair fight.

That’s fine, I just don’t f*** with that fight at all. Rellana took me a good 9-10 attempts with no spirit ash, i’m well over that on this f***ing d***head WITH my mimic

Lol it seems we were there at the same time. I was just there as well. The woods themselves were really boring imo, first thing in the DLC that I didn’t enjoy. Was pretty big and barren and uninteresting with no ability to ride Torrent. I did eventually find a…”location” there though which I’m now going through.
