No I keep forgetting to check it out, and I need that new Roc :datass:
dunno why all it does is record your stats. it's more of a nerdy thing than a social media one.

I'll check it out when I'm done existing
this was a very disappointing post to read.
Yeah see I don't really play music off my phone. Still have a tiny iPod that fits 20 thousand plus songs.
I use it with musicbee (iTunes equivalent basically) on my computer most of the time
It just automatically connects whenever I'm playing anything

Scaruffi’s Lemon Twigs ratings are embarrassing. He’s way too obsessed with innovation. His take is so funny cause he’s like “they can’t hide the fact they’re recycling ideas” as if they don’t admit in every interview that they’re not interested in being original.
How many truly innovative artists are there in 2024? Pretty much every sound imaginable has been explored already.

yeah I have a lot to say about this, not about scaruffi but about where music's natural evolution ultimately leads it to. classical is a really good example/analogy. but it's late
might have got a 14k offer for my collection. some guy wants to fly here from LA to pick it up. f*** If this goes through I could afford those IU front row tickets
actually f*** it pulling an all nighter. I've pulled like fourteen 30 hour all nighters in the last few months. I wonder if that's bad for your health.
f*** it idc

Yeah that’s the most frustrating part about his criticism. Almost every possible combination of sounds has been done. He’s speaking about them as if they’re either unconscious of what they’re doing or trying to get away with stealing. I think there’s room in modern music—when we’re half a century removed from the sounds they’re pulling from—to try and distill the essence at the heart of that older work and bring more of it into the world. Those styles are arguably as alien to younger people now as any possible new avant garde music that could be made in the moment.

How was it?
Has anyone else seen Dune 2? Is it better than the first one that I wasn't a huge fan of? I''m hearing good things about it so I might need to rewatch dune 1 (and the last 15 minutes which I didn't see)
I loved it, really good cinema experience just cause it feels absolutely massive. And I feel like despite all the changes they had to make it still retains the themes of the book pretty well. I really liked the first one too though
