I want to abstain from every list when they’re first announced, but over time I come around to the idea. Once I’m on board I’d rather the rules be consistent. I’m a huge fan of Pandora’s Box so there’s no reason for me to be difficult about its inclusion. I just don’t think it fits the bill.

in turn you would have to exclude every other album not written mostly by a female artist. This would be the same. This would mean a lot would fall off. Especially earlier albums, albums by pop stars etc.. I think you should also be able to do it vice versa. (Genuine Tong's Funeral is written by Carla Bley but released as a Gary Burton album and that should fit the bill).

However, I get you because it's conceptually a Steinman album.
