Ok I've been sleeping on MJ Lenderman, this new album is great... I listened to Boat Songs once, maybe time for a re-listen

How close was Eno to your top 10 @RVI i know you put AGW in your top 5 70s albums

I've kinda flipped my opinion on Eno in the past few years but we'll see

I’m torn on which album I prefer. His songwriting is tighter and the production is better on Manning Fireworks, but Boat Songs was more sonically varied and he let loose with his guitar more. I’d say Boat Songs had higher highs but also lower lows. Both are currently in my top 10 of the decade so far though.

yeah i liked the new one a lot on first listen

Boat Songs i was overall decent to me with 1-2 great songs but i should also revisit

was one of the last handful to get cut

along with Jorge Ben, Marvin Gaye, Stooges, Can
