Do you like Turnstile?
they cool, although im a bigger fan of their earlier stuff. still need to check out the new one
new Lorde singles are mediocre. Sounds as if she's desperately trying to win back the Melodrama crowd. Solar Power grew on me on the other hand big time.
Paul really snapped on lovely rita
yup
Sgt. Pepper really grew on me the past few months. Probably their best album.

Pep definitely has this "event" vibe going for it that nothing else has except maybe MBDTF.
That minute where ADITL transitions from ballad to "woke up, fell out of bed" has such a distinct and exciting feeling of discovery it's too good. It's like they captured the moment when they realized the possibilities are truly infinite.
White Album has too many gems of all flavors to not be my favorite though. Nothing touched Beedles in '68 except like Kinks and Van Morrison in '68. Something about the sound of records in those couple years when recording technology went from dusty mono to high tech stereo or whatever is such a sweet spot for me. No idea why.

Yes I've been on a big Beatles kick lately. Sgt pepper starts and ends wonderfully but I find mr kite and within you without you to be weaker Beatles songs that brings down the album compared to say abbey road or rubber soul (zero bad songs on those)
Tbh I find the sitar song on Sgt pepper and revolver the weakest song on both those albums.
Yeah new Pulp is better than it has any right to be
Exactly what I was thinking. Could've come out in their prime.

I love the sitar songs tbh. Being for the Benefit of Mr. Kite is a
highlight to me. Getting Better would be my pick for weakest track tbh.
Love To You too
@Fella where did you watch Godard's "Scenarios"?
Someone posted a Google drive file on Twitter. I don’t remember the account and I deleted the file. Sorry.
