FellaI love the opening track “Science Fiction”, but can’t really get into the rest of it. I think Phantom of The Paradise has a much better glam soundtrack.

I think his fixation as a critic is on originality, and I think combining all of those influences that early is novel enough for him. But yeah, this is great. Totally my sound.
yup, this was a surprise him reccing heartfelt Power Pop but I'll take it. love them.

Crazy as it sounds a bunch of hardcore/metal bands used to do shows at this dive bar in Little Haiti out of all places and tear it up. I remember Infest, Tragedy, Eyehategod, Shai Hulud, Ceremony, and bunch of others too.

im honestly considering going.. hatebreed, turmoil, gorilla biscuits, mearauder, excessive force, forced order is insane in itself.. then there’s a bunch of great new school bands toothey just missin disembodied
in any case I hope the turmoil thing isnt just a one off for FYA and they do some touring
