hey @op most electrolyte things don't contain enough salts for a fasting person because they're assuming the person using them is also getting salts from their diet. the optimal way to do it is get some half salt or lite salt which is a reduced sodium salt supplemented with potassium. use ½tsp per liter of water and then take some magnesium pills and you're all set. I got some lemonade flavored Mio drink flavoring thing and that made it taste kinda fire tbh. by day 3 I was cruising

as someone who fasts for weekends at a time bone broth technically breaks the fast although i do drink it myself just regularly. the key with fasting is to keep your mind off food and keep yourself busy and hydrated. instead of electrolyte powder ill just put some pink himalayan salt on my hand and lick it the flavors in electrolyte powder throw me off when im fasting. good luck man

Yes, I’m taking electrolyte powder but adding pink himalayan salt to my water too
i love fasting
just make sure you get enough salt etc like others are saying
i find it gives me a bit of a high and is a good way to lose weight
if i eat i like to eat to feel full i guess is one of my issues
i have been doing it lately got 10 pounds left to go
i will say it can get addicting after a few months of doing it on and off
i almost became underweight and lost a lot of muscle mass in my early 20s i regret that but fasting is great
