Would spin the pitched down version from time to time while taking in all the new FO that dropped. Obviously the final version is supreme but funny that on the first listen 2 tracks in only 1 in pitched Frank verse had been heard so far lol

All this time I never knew it was pitched up

All this time I never knew it was pitched up

It's a slight pitch like a few semitones compared to the 5 semitones for Nikes
The outro of the song ("I've been dreaming of you...") is where he turns the dial up even more

  • While we're on Ivy:

Michael "Fish" Herring on the guitar work he did for Ivy and working with Frank. Never seen this video posted before (did come out last year tho lol).
    So good.

new blonded.blog post about coachella with some exclusive details, great read

  • Wow amazing article. Been listening to the performances from that show; with time it’s abundantly clear that he went back solely to honor his commitment and brother, from what I read he spent his $4m fee on production costs so like truly this was not a money grab like people were saying/thinking

Incredible re-arrangements. I could see Frank in his later years becoming a touring act like Bob Dylan, just playing whatever the f*** he wants, reinventing his catalog beyond recognition.

Can’t help but see some possible subtext in the post-apocalyptic aesthetic. Losing his brother was the end of the world for him…

I just hope he’s okay. Honestly in the last two years or so I’ve really had a 180 when it comes to anticipating new Frank. Life is so short and imperfect and everyone is handling things in their own way. I’m so grateful I got to be around for CO and Blonde and that they soundtracked so much of my youth. I know if Frank ever feels like releasing something ever again, it’ll be worth the wait.

Very subjective opinion, but to me it’s the best sounding song on Blonde. The mixing is so crazy on a good pair of headphones. Just layers on layers

Sounds like you’re floating on a cotton candy cloud

Here we go again. Fakemink teasing a secret feature on Terrified.

Love mink but it’d be pretty odd to pass on features with Rosalía and A$AP then return on a fakemink album

Same. Has more replay value than blonde for me

  • Yeah, I listen to Endless more often than Blonde as well. It just flows so well from beginning to end.

not expecting anything from him but if he were to return it would be in a big way, like a solo venture or his movie coming out

Be Yourself is very funny because II had no clue why Frank would put that annoying s*** on till I was on the other side

Such fundamental advice that will always fall on the deaf ears of the kids you’re telling it to.
