Yeah why are we discussing our opinions on a show inside the shows thread.
Not what I asked at all lmao
Sopranos camping episode much better than this one!
The one with chris paulie and the russian?
That s*** was hilarious

I was thinking the season 6 premier but both classics
I'm a little worried bc I saw someone say that Earn will die bc of his heartfelt confession to make it tragic - and I am honestly not okay with that
Would ruin the show
Literally no reason for that to happen
Not what I asked at all lmao
You asked “why do y’all keep trying to logically explain mental instability” aka our opinion. So yes that’s what you are asking because everything I’ve expressed is simply MY opinion.
You found em yet?
after lots of s***ty relationships n decisions I have found the one
Rewatching from S1 now and man i forgot how hilarious the pilot is
Nigga if you don’t bite this sandwich
Holy f*** the dude described to Paper Boi as a threat in Season 1 episode 4 is the same guy who was just shooting at him in that mall episode in season 4
This show is so f***ing GOAT man
Top 5 oat imo
Darius became the GOAT to me in season 1 when he gave Earn his phone for the rent money
Oh the message was great. Don't get me wrong, it's still a fantastic episode. Just not one of my favorites
this is how I felt after watching the episode. like im not sure if I thought it was one of my favorite episodes of the show but I did appreciate what it was and how beautiful the episode was. I did immediately want to rewatch it after finishing it though, which never really happens.
I think this episode will age extremely well and I can find it being better on a rewatch.

One of the episodes that could have been stretched out into a full movie.
I love the aspect ratio they used, it’s a little wider than 4:3
this. i was kind of mindblown by the ending bc i was seriously expecting something to go wrong while they were in the rain but it didn’t. this is probably the most subversive episode of the entire series
this is a reason why I think the episode will age gracefully, at first you're assuming the worst, but by the end you see it as a short story of a family with a cloud hanging over them about their uncertain future together and making a decision by the end.

that's exactly how I felt too
that ratio really just drives home that movie feel. that last shot after the car left the camp area was incredible. like I sat there in some sorrow cause it felt like the end of a book or movie where you're never gonna know what happens next for them and you just gotta confront and accept that
from reddit:
Earn was the snipe.
Very rare
It only comes out at night (Earn’s emotions)
It has red eyes (Earn crying)
Only the coolest and smartest can catch it (Earn admitted to Van she’s all he ever wanted. She is his dream girl. She’s the coolest and smartest)
Lottie: Did you ever catch it?
Van: No but with your help I think I can
Earn told Van that Lottie is the physical manifestation of what happens when they get together. Lottie helped Earn both realize and understand his immense love for both Van and their family.
There’s a deeper story they were trying to emphasize on with this episode. The black family dynamic and how to rebuild that, getting through all the pride and ego which is why they played that Sade song Love Stronger Than Pride.
I think it was a great message and not something you depicted in black media like at all
very real

Yeah bro fr. Even the way it started, whole thing just felt like a movie. Do you know what ratio they used?
