Warren Peacethe show did a really cool role reversal with Cassie and Maddy. I remember in the first episode, Rue described Cassie as being really sweet. And Maddy was a b**** early on
But then as time went on, we see it’s really the opposite. Maddy’s actually the sweet one and a good friend, Cassie is the snake

Theres amazing scenes every episode due to the tension and drama they create and the actors do a great job but overall the story and characters take away from it. Plus theres always a bunch of "meh" scenes

Succession is cool. You a gymnast for real though. But I'll entertain that. Succession might be better than Euphoria, Kendall's scene during Shiv's wedding might be enough for me to say so. Succession has plenty of shiet writing too. I just can't get too deep into an HS setting and HS drama but guess what the only show I'll do that for is....

For a high school show, sure it’s pretty elevated, but that’s mostly because of the budget + cinematography + music. But don’t let the pretty visuals fool you, this show’s writing (for the most part) is pretty on par with every other HS drama.
Season 1 was great but it had its moments of poor writing. Season 2 was 7 episodes worth of those moments, with Episode 5 being the only exception.
Also, Succession does not have any s*** writing. Succession is one of the best written shows on television right now, if not the best. Almost everyone who watches the show agrees with that sentiment. It’s masterfully acted, written, directed, shot, and scored. The only real downside to it is that sometimes it can feel like the plot is moving at a snail’s pace but that’s because they let the characters drive the show rather than the narrative
