properI liked the zendaya one didn’t even bother watching Jules cause I don’t really care about her character at all
I was the exact same way but I recommend watching it
I love Rue but don’t really care for Jules that much. I watched Jules’ special purely out of boredom and was pleasantly surprised. It was one of the best episodes of the show and helped me empathize with Jules more
I think Hunter Schafer co-writing it had something to do with it as well bc Jules isn’t nearly as interesting in most other episodes

revengengl having Jules has Rue’s love interest through out this show kinda pissed me off.
lowkey one of the woat TV relationships. feel like it took the focus off so much other s*** that could’ve been way more interesting.i think only reason people like that coupling is cause the actresses are cute and are good friends irl, in the show they're a pretty s*** couple. one of em cheats soon as they get together, and the other was high for all of the relationship, really made that lovers montage feel ridiculous

it's not really that on its own tbh it's that it's so self serious doing it, s2 so far is diff because the visual style isn't as stylized and the tone is more lighthearted overall. another thing that bothered me is the trivialization of topics like bd, s***work, abusive relationships but this time around its mostly love triangles and they're kinda dealing with maddy's mental health so
