It's a very divisive show

Personally I really love season 1. Cinematography is consistently gorgeous, the acting is mostly pretty great, and the characters are interesting. It's not perfect but still worth the watch imo, but like I said its divisive

Season 2 is a step down quality wise. Although season 2 cinematography looks even better than season 1, the writing is quite noticeably worse.
There's still great acting there though, but there are glaring problems with the season that you can't ignore.
But its a realllyyy good looking season, I can't stress that enough

Zendaya kills it in both season though

I think it may have something to do with age. I'm a bit older so I don't think I'm the intended audience.. I'll watch the entire season and see what's up, I've heard amazing things about this and some people say it's the worst show ever which piqued my interest in the first place. So many s***scenes lol s*** making me uncomfortable cuz these girls look young af

It's a mature show that takes place in high school, which does sound like an oxymoron lol. But a lot of the plot points in season 1 wouldn't work if the characters were legal age, and you'll see why if you keep watching.

People under 18 really shouldn't be watching s*** like this, but the show has garnered a large teen audience since season 2 premiered.

But yea the s***scenes are supposed to be uncomfortable and tense. And I get that it feels weird because they are supposed to be in high school , but just keep in mind the actors are all old af in real life
