Haven't gone back to it in awhile because I worry that I'd find a lot of annoying as f*** now.
Pusha Man/Paranoia, Acid Rain, and Everybody's Something I remember still, and those are good tracks.
Classic. Definitely parts that I can only stomach because of nostalgia but as a whole the totally unique sound and aesthetic of the album allows it stand on its own all of these years later.
Classic
I can get people not really listening to it anymore but anyone who lived through it knows it impact
let's keep all the way 3 hunna.
Chance made the mistake of appealing to a MASSIVE fanbase of smart but underachieving d*** addicts (his own words that's what he definitely would summarize himself as, man told Deante Kyle he was in the slow class lolololol) that prolly wear fedoras and scoff at a text of any religion aka don't know what nuance mean.
So Coloring Book was gonna always have this wave of "hate" and an underlying affect of niggas hoping this man failed (Big Day being a pile of s*** doesn't help) which is ironic because Coloring Book as an overall project is so much more better and consistent than Acid Rap was.
We just blatantly ignore the lows on it lol.
i’m so glad the CB > AR take isn’t controversial anymore
never got into Acid Rap outside a few songs like CBK & Juice
meanwhile, Coloring Book was hitting with every song
Classic
Sorry bro
never feel the need to revisit it
I was late on the Chance train but this s*** is definitely a staple and I’d say a classic personally
Juice got added back a few years ago
Damn I had no idea
On Spotify the first album that shows up is still the one that doesnt have it
Still a classic project and undeniably his best work, even if the production still 2013 based, it’s still so fresh that you can play any song and vibe to it lil it came out yesterday.
Star Line was really good
Idk if he just waited too long or if he was always cooked in the main stream after his flop
probably a mix of both I have to check out star line
those ab soul and Bronson features some of the worst songs on this, Star Line a better written project, but yea this was my s*** in HS and it will always be iconic.
Damn I had no idea

Yeah its a separate album for some reason
The 10 year anniversary one
