Ya I’ve heard this too. Another reason why i don’t take it seriously is like, one chooses to be asexual. It’s not like u can choose to be gay or some s***. Like how can u say ‘there’s no one out there that can get me h****.’ If u declare urself asexual and then find someone that turns u on by definition ur not asexual anymore

you have made that very clear, but I would reconsider that stance if you care to actually understand asexuality. and if you dont care to understand it then just stfu

If this is something you really want to learn about, why not just ask asexual people about their experience, or seek out their stories

Semantics about laws and labels are largely irrelevant to the internal experience

Being gay is a sexual orientation, asexuality is just a lack of one. Some people just do not have a s***drive it’s pretty straight forward

Meh, it’s not something I’ve been thinking abt or anything. I jus saw it was asexual day and wanted to see if bein asexual was something more than what i thought it was. From what I’ve learned (to me) it’s not and hasn’t changed how i think of it. Not like i disapprove of their lifestyle or anything i jus don’t think it should be lumped in with LGBT

Some people just aren’t into f***ing. Society has always had a sect of humans who are either repulsed by or scared of sex. So the concept of asexuality isn’t new we just have a word for it now.

I mean what is the LGBTQ community anyway tbh? Is it people who have those sexuality? People who also advocate for the rights of those groups? Because those are definitely not necessarily the same people lol shoutout Caitlyn Jenner

Nah he's right it's still a debate for slot of people. There's many who consider the LGBTQ+ community as just for any alternative sexuality or in the case of asexual non sexuality versus people who think it should be for those with attraction to opposite genders.

Cuz there’s a lot of connection between being sexually violated and that leading to being sex-repulsed which leads to asexuality. Like, a lot. That affirms to me that asexual folks choose to be so. Like to me it’s a lifestyle choice. Not that there’s anything wrong with it
