The issue with ai features is its difficult to fit them into the traditional workflows and programming frameworks of the prior software

It will take a long time for developers to make ai features feel natural. You lowkey have to redesign the software entirely to make it work

This is a big reason why ai is a bubble. Software isnt naturally designed to work well with ai features

Like for instance lets say fl studio makes a feature using ai to automatically align audio clips

Assuming it works well youd need some button to press to do the function. Then youd have to go back with the original tools to fix the errors

It might slightly save time but its not worth the clumsiness and headache. This is why ai is such a bullshit trend

  • Ai is best for telling you how to do things with the original tools rather than using ai to automate the process itself

Gemini stores your Google information (files, emails, website searches and data you highlight on said website, tracks your keyboard/mouse plus more) for up to 3 years as soon as you connect it to googles services thought the location tracking was bad, this is insane

"Claude Helped a Hacker Find a Way to Issue Tickets to Almost Every US Music Festival.

Using Anthropic’s Claude Opus 4.7, he could break into the website of Front Gate—used by every festival from Lollapalooza to Bonnaroo—and freely issue any ticket he chose."

Idk at this point I’m just watching blu rays and DVDs of my favorite shows or movies

  • Yet another failure of the American political imagination that it's being treated on a name and shame basis. AI cancel culture. What will the libs think of next

hey man, I personally dont like or use ai for my creative work but i think youre underestimating and miseducated on the scale and range LLM’s has when it comes to solving complex problems.
If theres a UI issue best believe the AI will figure and adapt quicker than a human will.
I dont agree with AI beint a trend or a bubble, its going to be the primary tool for the foreseeable future.

Still don’t get a lot of ppl itt? Are yall trying to say AI is a bubble, useless and doesn’t work as intended or that it’s going to have a large impact on productivity/employment/wealth disparity and s*** and everybody will be out of work?

You guys are sounding like those rednecks that are simultaneously saying immigrants are all on benefits & saying they are taking all of their jobs

That’s not a use no, but it is definitely a byproduct of it for a lot of people.

However that’s not new, in the past humans have lost then common skills because of technological innovation countless times. Quick example; our ancestors weren’t dependent on compasses for navigation before they were invented, after they were invented we lost many of those abilities, but still navigation improved.

What do you think? Is AI useless or will it put millions out of jobs in the short term?

I feel like I never should’ve become so dependent on gps for that reason I feel it’s made me dumb in that regard.

I have never nor will ever use it but it seems that it’ll take all jobs that don’t require motivating others (teaching coaching ect)
