He wasn't just an artist he was producing all over the place and engineering all over the place even outside of Rap, and he was very hands on with his label until the late 2000s (game experience is kinda what killed his passion until Jon Connor and especially Kendrick
But yeah he did have them do a lot, a lot of Detox 1.0 songs ended up others albums cuz what initally halted Detox 1.0 was all the leaking and the unfinished collab with a real Jay Z feat that got leaked before Dres verse was fully done and the mixing that got backlash on forums back then that made Dre pull back
And Nate Dogg dying basically right after Kush releases killed the basically 3rd final major interaction of Dre that was gonna be a mix of old West Coast electro dance and gangsta club music
But yeah, sucks

Yep the 04-07 detox would've been great but I still think it had potential for a long time after
