Although this isn't exclusive to masculinity, it's honestly just being your true self and not caring about what others think imo. That to me is who I consider someone who is truly a grown man. Anyone that goes "Real men does x,y,z," is a lil boy performing what they think what masculinity is because they are doing things based off societal criteria and not what they truly want to do. You got a marked decline in marriage, organized religion partakers, nuclear families and an increase in coming out as LGBT

Most of the bedrocks of at least stereotypically "masculine" men have been going by the wayside for decades and that never gets mentioned in threads like this lol

I'd also say in general, 90% of "problematic" experiences probably don't occur off the net (at least with any frequently). Like I've gotten slurs and s*** IRL, but it's so fleeting, I'm not really raring to make thinkpieces about my local populace like you get from dudes on twitter or w/e
