I really hope the rumors about a collab album with Roddy Ricch aren't true. The guy's f***ing trash, and every track he drops is loaded with garbage autotune. Kendrick better not stoop that low. You can't pick a worse collab.

I wish buddy luck and success, just not on Kendrick’s shoulders. Kendrick’s on a whole different level and if he’s doing a collab album, it should be with Cole or maybe Frank Ocean. Anything else is just a waste of time.

that new record is a step in a better direction but still can’t say it makes me excited in any way, he still is a shadow of his former self

let’s not forget his amazing Pure Souls feature though, he truly showed his talent on there again and i really hoped it would help him raise from the dead but nope

i’m just really afraid that he’s lost it as far as his solo output goes but hopefully I’ll be proven wrong one day

I highly doubt they refered to a collab album or any talks about a collab album between the two, it will be a collab single at most imo which I would gladly take, a song wouldn’t hurt anybody if it’s dope and could kickstart Roddy’s comeback

doubt that Kendrick will ever do a collab album anyways unless it’s with Keem…. and hell no even if he does I’m definitely praying it’s not with Cole though lol I think I’d rather hear a collab album with Roddy than that one

And then cats wonder why the quality in the rap genre is at rock bottom and why there's currently a huge crisis in hiphop. When you have people thinking that Young Thug, Lil Yachty, and similar clowns are dope rappers, then you know the entire genre is in serious trouble.

Atlanta is full of trash rappers, copying each other. I'm not saying all rappers from Atlanta are trash because there are quality stuff out there, but most of it is low-quality bs.

We need more Outkast and less trap garbage.

nobody said Thug is a dope lyricist, but he's stylistically one of the most unique rappers out right now. not everyone can make deep music, we need party and vibe music, and artists like Thug and Roddy make good music on that end.
