until someone more morally good than you comes along and says we shouldn't listen to you because of your failures right?

I don’t know what you’re trying to argue here or what your question is could you please state it a little clearer

What is the purpose of buying all this rap history (some of niggas you don't like) if not to display that you, a Canadian acquired it for display

and even then if he bought it to destroy it he bought it from the ppl who owned it in the first place so what the f*** does this mean 😭

I don't know enough about the group to say anything concrete, but the reactions on this site and across twitter I've seen tells me they aren't a popular group

They’re a terrorist organization and their founder (Farrakhan) has blamed Jewish people for 9/11

That's my problem with Kendrick, is that he tries to be the moral compass and dismiss it at the same time

Eh idk. Rappers just as are people are walking contradictions. It’s not unique to Kendrick. I just think the difference is Kendrick’s contradictions are more palatable to the folks online at least compared to Drake. Whether that’s true or fair really just resides to the individual. For me as an example I can respect acknowledging your contradictions but also at the same time if the music is good that’s all that matters at the end of the day. I’m not looking for a celebrity to be my hero

I feel like Kendrick is worthy to criticism as many problematic artists, but I believe he gets a lot of grace, because we haven't really seen any controversies/dirt surrounding his name yet.

So I don't expect people to slander Kendrick's name the same way people slander Drakes.

Saying Kendrick shouldn't call out Drake just because he is friends with Dre is ridiculous. Flawed people can call out other flawed people. Expecting anything else is an exercise in apathy because no one is perfect.

There’s video footage of Drake kissing and rubbing up on a minor but Kendrick is the one that needs to be held accountable for affiliation in an industry

The problem is parading virtue like it's a pillar of your being

Any of the rappers that everybody compares in this situation didn't use Pac, Biblical, and therapy to solidify their image

Another argument is that "who looks to to rappers" things that I'm not involved in, I'm only looking at the imagery and information presented. They don't have an affect on my life, unless somebody cut the check, I'm just offering unbiased opinion for the love of the game

It's not just rappers it's people in general. I said and did f***ed up things before but I've also called out others for doing f***ed up s***. Am I a hypocrite? Sure but I'd rather be that than apathetic.

Did we rehabilitate them or did we just ignore everything?

I’m not trying to be Antagonizing just literally asking

everybody ignores when it's convenient. i saw an account post about kendrick bringing out dre making him a horrible person and it only took two seconds to find them on their profile posting solange, when she featured carti two years after him getting charged for domestically abusing his gf in 2017. you can see there's no winning with this logic when it comes to art and it's psychotic to operate on it.
