    Most of the stuff that is attached to Kendrick is able to get insulated or Somewhat removed Because it’s not coming directly from him.

    To me, my only critique Is the Kodak stuff because I don’t think there’s a way you can tell me I ain't know. Kendrick Lamar is in a very Intentional and intelligent artist, So it’ll always be a head scratcher. It’s very clear that the black Israelite connection Is the reason he on the album but it’s still weird.

    Saying Kendrick shouldn't call out Drake just because he is friends with Dre is ridiculous. Flawed people can call out other flawed people. Expecting anything else is an exercise in apathy because no one is perfect.

    That wasn’t my point at all.

    My point was if he knew the information he knew about Drake, and he knew that women and young girls were being sexually trafficked and assaulted. He should’ve reported him to the authorities or to the rest of the community. AGES AGO

    Any of the rappers that everybody compares in this situation didn't use Pac, Biblical, and therapy to solidify their image

    Another argument is that "who looks to to rappers" things that I'm not involved in, I'm only looking at the imagery and information presented. They don't have an affect on my life, unless somebody cut the check, I'm just offering unbiased opinion for the love of the game

    everybody ignores when it's convenient. i saw an account post about kendrick bringing out dre making him a horrible person and it only took two seconds to find them on their profile posting solange, when she featured carti two years after him getting charged for domestically abusing his gf in 2017. you can see there's no winning with this logic when it comes to art and it's psychotic to operate on it.

    No for sure , it’s a faulty system because if you look far enough and deep enough This industry in runs off, this type of behavior.

    I hear you. I also think him saying, "I'm not your Savior" while also holding these morals and s*** is him talking from his own standpoint. He's not asking everybody to join in on his crusade because he's aware of his contradictions, but it's not gonna stop him from saying "LeBron, keep the family away," regardless.     I'm not, you must not have seen my takes before the whole battle started. I've always been critical about Kendrick's message, because it's not painting a full story. I have similar issues with Nas in that regard, though my Nas gripe is more about authenticity. I don't like when people tiptoe Hotep s***. So, yes bringing up the Israelite god and having a theme of at least one archangel is presenting something. The therapy part is about self actualization, in context of the dozens, and I personally don't care about that when I feel the orator needs himself for a reason
