Why do people who think they understand something we don’t always say weird s*** like “you guys haven’t heard the rooster crow yet” instead of just explaining their point

"This is only the pre-cum. You haven't even begun to see the spew"

Republicans have called for Kaep's head on a silver platter for kneeling on television and now these same people are saying that it is respectable and even necessary that we let politicians engage in sedition against the USA

i said this in another thread but

twitter, as a private company, has every right to ban whoever they want

however, they are also at a point where they are so large and important to our society, there should be some protections in place to keep this from happening

twitter is how world leaders deliver news now.

banning trump from twitter is like banning americans from receiving mail. what if a major decision is made before biden is in office?

    Shut the f*** up please

he’s not, plenty do. he just uses it for stupid reasons too - i.e b****ing on social media

however, plenty world leaders share information and news on twitter

Why don't people like this ever understand that freedom of speech doesn't mean freedom of consequence.

There was already precedence made when AOC got into s*** for blocking people. Twitter isn’t just some random site and it hasn’t even for awhile.

It’s an official line of communication. Ban him the second he is no longer an elected official holding office.

Apples and oranges. AOC was sued because it is unlawful for an account of official purposes to exclude people in an online dialogue. Which, iirc, happened to Trump as well. It has nothing to do with "press media".

That is law. Twitter's ToS is different. If you break Twitter's rules, they have grounds to remove you from that service. It doesn't matter who you are. Trump broke Twitter's ToS (among other sites'), he was banned. There is no law preventing that.

Banning Trump from Twitter is not like banning mail lmao what are you talking about.

If he makes any big changes he can communicate that without Twitter you know there were presidents before social media right?
