The replies itt and the fact it's at 31 pages shows otherwise.
That’s just cuz we’re having a heated discussion
Some of y’all never slap boxed with ur pops in the backyard over something said at the dinner table and it shows
Slapbox?
Some of yall never dueled at 50 paces with your pops and it shows
Belts, extension cords, those bungee cords for your car with the metal hooks bruh I got all that s*** and looking back now it really was wild lol even more so because I still went on to do s*** I wasn't supposed to do so all that wasn't even effective.
You already a big ass adult that's towering over a small child. What do you even need all that s*** for?
Having to go pick your switch out from a tree
them big ass wooden paddles
You can instill the idea that actions have consequences in your children without hitting them 💀
Please explain how
Please explain how
inductive parenting for one, i think this is the most recommended style of punishment from what i've seen
Please explain how
Your words. Most adults use words in day to day life to convey points and emotions
You’re gonna hit some little kid who can’t fight back? That’s p**** s***. Kids aren’t nearly as stupid as y’all seem to think, either.
Please explain how
Leading by example, actually talking about it with them, other forms of pinishment besides hitting them

See I believe using those is doing too much. A wood spoon, switch or hand is enough. Maybe not the belt, cord etc. It’s the whip like motion where things go up a notch and I don’t like it.
yall dont realize that you can do all that "non-violence" s*** and the child can still grow up bad ass f*** lol. It happens and i've seen it before.
It can go the other way around too there’s menaces that have been whooped
You obviously would choose to. I hope he knows you feel that way one day
You think he would start to beat his kids because he doesn’t agree that a whooping = abuse?
You shoulda got more whoopings
Lmao I went to sleep for like 3 hours and now I’m back itt again
Get me outta here!

I got the belt, extension cords, etc as a kid and I still went on to sell d****, fight and stab people. So what's your point?
I'm sure it's many kids who were beaten with a belt or whatever who still grew up to be criminals, gang bangers, police officers, etc.

There's a whole scientific consensus in psychology that beating kids as punishment is harmful, yes even when it's done calmly saying "this hurts me more than it hurts you" or whatever, crayz how stubborn people wanna be about this
The problem isn’t that parents don’t hit their kids, it’s that parents are spineless, dishonest, and stupid.
I know a nigga that for sure got beats as a kid. He went to jail for stabbing someone in a nightclub. That s*** doesn’t work
I got the belt these kids can get the belt too
Except this time it’s Gucci 💪🏽

Pretty much you teaching your kids early on that violence is the solution to somebody not doing what you want them to do. Which can result to some s*** like that or your kid resorting to violence for every little thing. Issa cycle.
