Of course you’re going to discipline in non physical ways for the majority of things but it’s a case by case basis. The only times I ever got whooped were when I would start fights at school/pick on people, when I ran away and when I almost caught my house on fire by blowing up stuffed animals with makeshift bombs with cologne bottles and I deserved those butt burns every time. I’m definitely spanking my kid if they wanna go and be mean and hurt other kids or put themself/others in danger. It worked for me and I never did those things again, I can’t see if you’re kids being harmful towards others how just communicating with them will change anything, they’ll think they can hurt people without any consequences. If you put your hands on someone that didn’t deserve it ima show you pain just like you caused them. Not everything can be solved with words unfortunately, that’s how your kids end up not respecting you and walking all over you
