Pascal and Arad are so vain I was rolling my eyes when I saw Pascal pictures in the credits

I don't agree AT ALL that this movie felt "overstuffed" or whatever word is going around to describe this morning.

If anything, I would have wanted to see MORE from certain aspects

Overstuffed is not the word but it did become a super highway . Of serving so many plots and characters not named spider man or peter parker. Also the Ned and MJ plot lines had mixed results

I gotta disagree - I think everyone, except 1 that I mentioned in the Spoilers thread, had a purpose and lent itself to the theme of the movie

lends itself to the point of the movie yes. But its still like something felt missing to fully make this movie undeniably great for me. Its not that any of its bad or takes away from movie or theme but with the time on the clock pacing wise it still reached a point where I was kind of like "okay I get it" or tedious and knew where it was going.

Rewatching TASM. Emma Stone (and Andrew) deserved so much more than this diabolically s***ty romance arc.

Right now...I have this slotted in the Top 5 of my favorite MCU list but I was on a high last night and will reassess after tonight

Don't see this falling out of the Top 10 though

Not touching Spider man 1, 2 or spiderverse quite for me but definitely best of MCU Spider Man. Will see if that changes on rewatches . Respect to people who cried to this but emotional moments didnt land to that degree for me. Definitely also one of the better MCU movies of the entire run.

Dune, Doomsday still to come but Odyssey and Spider man same month are crazy for him and Zendaya

They have obvious chemistry and despite what I think is an uneven Andrew performance, his best scenes are with Emma.

But the whole romance feels unnatural.
