Highlights for me were in the middle section that showed reality hitting him on grief and having a window relationship with Ted/MJ.

That lonely swing was brutal and beautiful.

There are plenty of other movies out there besides comic book films…

It’s 100% meant to immerse your peripheral vision. And for a lot of the time it surprisingly works. Just don’t look directly at those side screens, because they are definitely not the same as the center one.

It was really cool during the swinging scenes and some of the combat. Kind of felt unnecessary during some of the talking scenes. It also wasn’t on for the whole movie.

Anyway yeah I stand in my belief that this is my favorite live action Spidey.

Fire film

After two watches, even though I have some issues with it that are more related to implications for the MCU at large, this is one of their best films yet.

Superb blockbuster filmmaking, thematically brilliant, and the story was told beautifully, but I’m just not a fan of how they introduced Jean to this universe

Also, as an aside, I don’t think he actually went to college at all, seems like he skipped it all together.

This is rly one of the most “comic book” feeling cbm for me.

I feel like we could see college or university become part of the story in the next two movies since he lets the peter parker side of his life back in and no way he just wouldn’t wanna go to university

There's so many fundamental Spider-man story elements missing from MCU Spider-Man. No uncle ben, Harry Osborn, Daily bugle photographer job, etc. I'm surprised he's so beloved regardless of this

Uncle Ben I can let go some even if it feels odd . The rest genuinely bothers me especially because a job and oscorp could easily fill in some of the writing gaps we are seeing
