Damn mgs 4 is the true finale to the series and you played it first lmao
Snake just making his stank face the whole game
this really a movie game the re4 remake was the complete opposite of this
This looks awful. UE5 strikes again
plastic asf
2020s coded asf
just finished my first playthrough
forgot how hard the end hits. An unbelievable triumph. also i feel the strong need to replay mgs5 expeditiously, this world and it’s characters are just so rich
f*** it i might just buy this and play it instead of going thru the first three games especially since i cant even beat the first one

Yeah delta, it’s gorgeous. Very respectful of the original.

Why can't you beat the first one?

i'm down, probably will wait till christmas tho -
SH2 remake taught me with these new-gen konami remakes that they're supplemental to the originals experience, and i played original mgs3 last year

Yeah same I played it on switch when the master collection vol.1 dropped, I much prefer this version because of various quality of life improvements and controls and stuff, not to mention the visuals. I’m very curious to see what the metal gear online stuff is like too

yeah i'm most interested in qol and playing with my gf who doesn't really play games like that, and can't deal with older titles cause of lack of flair.
I'm in the middle of DS2 tho still, so i'mma play the real kojima game first before this one.

Pleasantly surprised by the master collection tho - i bought a little post launch and i hear their were fixes but its nice
Why can't you beat the first one?
cant beat the mantis mission, im on switch and i just dont understand how to connect and disconnect the gamepad and whatnot. i watched all games playthrough multiple times over the years btw im familiar with the story

On PC, you just pause it and go to controller options and it tells you which port to recognize the controller in. Maybe the Switch is similar? I don't think you actually change the port on the Switch
Beat MGS1 and 2 prior to playing 3 (at least the first). It's much more rewarding that way imo. (EDIT: Wrote that before your edit)
Y'all be having some weird criticisms man lol.
Haven't played the game so I don't know how it runs. But it looks phenomenal. The original game objectively does NOT look better

You gotta hit the equivalent to l1+r1 at the same time and the menu will pop up
Currently loving this. Every metal gear game i play takes me a couple hours to go from hating it to loving it
Y’all playing the game default or with the classic filter?
Also curious if I should bump up the difficulty since the new control scheme apparently makes the game far easier.

Never played the og so used the new filter. Just being able to see better helps with my immersion. My only gripe is snake being a little less efficient and mobile as in mgs5. Totally understand why but it makes me wanna go nuts in mgs5 more. But this is really fun for my first time.
