im not fighting to get a new Switch model and if i dont get one for BOTW2 or Pokemon Legends im not even gonna play those games and temporarily move on from Nintendo completely just like i did when the Wii U came out because they really dont operate for the consumer and it's just tiring, id rather wait 3 years and catch up than sit around HOPING for Nintendo to so something right for once

Yea but this isn’t a PS5. Nintendo has already mentioned a long time ago they’re interested in the iPhone model. Just because it’s called 2 doesn’t mean they still can’t be under one ecosystem.

That's how I feel as well. Switch 2 feels like the name of a sequel/next gen console, not a slightly upgraded version of the same 2017 Switch. Same with Super Switch imo. Super Switch feels like a potential name for a next-gen Switch, not a mid-gen upgrade.

with the news that the new model isnt being produced until June 2021 why not announce the console 6 months before with pre-orders being fulfilled instantly and then ensure a set amount of consoles is distributed evenly to each store slightly based on the first Switch sales? that would work lol

if pitched that there's no way they can say "we wont have enough available for that" when they plan on selling this new model 3 months after announcing it lmaooo it's almost like they KNOW they'll sell out at launch and be unavailable until 2022 rather than continuously selling AS MANY as they can with 6 months of ramp up time to produce the models

Getting a Switch on launch day in Sweden was a piece of cake for me. I went to the store without a preorder just 15 minutes before they opened and got everything I wanted. I hope it won’t be any different with the new Switch because it’s been easy to get a Switch here ever since it launched.

It was no problem for me getting my Switch as well but we're in a new time.

Even if the new Switch doesn’t get announced this coming week, another thing they have to announce soon is their E3 plans. Hopefully we can get at least one of these two announcements within the next few days.
