well, it's a great 9.5/10 open world survival action puzzle game but it's not really that great of a Zelda game and a large % of people agree with that regardless of how good the game is

1. wish there were themed dungeons and a boss/villain with more of an identity

2. weapons breaking is kind of lame

3. using your house should've had more importance

4. maxed at 900p 30fps which looks terrible on any 4K screen

5. i also wish u could play in the post-game but whatever lol

there's a bunch more little things too but id be nitpicking at that point

Tbf tho botw is more zelda than the 3d zeldas

but the game structure was influenced by the og Zelda so it’s really more of a love letter to the classic, but yeah they removed elements that have been present in the 3d series

I wouldn’t be shocked if botw2 shows them put those elements back in, like for instance more of a focus on story and possibly a return to large dungeons.

So the Switch Pro is getting announced in the next 2 weeks and earlier then expected because some companies wonna announce Switch Pro games at E3 and they can’t unless Nintendo announces the system first

Nintendo is gonna show some Switch Pro related games / 1st party games with Pro enhancements.... or just SOMETHING Pro related

Besides BotW2 (obviously) I believe it’ll be some Metroid game or Bayo 3.

Hope 3rd parties got something interesting to show like nier automata & replicant for example

Nier would be really neat to get on Switch. Haven’t played it but it looks interesting to me.

I only played automata but id gladly double dip (especially if it came with nier replicant and it runs better than pc without mods )

If the rumors end up being true and we get a Switch revision announcement this week or next week, I wonder if they'll show us some new footage of games running on the new Switch or if they'll just give us a hardware overview. Would be really dope if they gave us a glimpse of a big software title, preferably BotW 2, even if it's just a small teaser to show us how the game can look on the new Switch.

Of course, they may just save all the game footage completely for E3, but if they are revealing the Switch revision before E3 then it would be wack not to include any software in that reveal to give us an idea of how the new Switch is better.

If they're showing software in the reveal, it will be already available software, they dont want to show anything new this close to E3. This will probably mean that they plan to update their evergreens for the switch pro so id gladly accept it

i wanna see BOTW, SMO, Link's Awakening (fix), Hyrule Warriors AoC, Astral Chain and some 3rd parties all running at 4K60

i wonder if games like Xenoblade Chronicles DE and 2 will get upgrades? they were 720 on my 4K tv it felt like playing my PS3 without an HDMI cable back in 2006

Yeah, they'll probably just give us a look at old titles that we already have and show us how they have been improved to look/run better on the new hardware, but obv I'd prefer to get a glimpse at something new. I do wonder if they are planning to update their old titles to make use of the new hardware or if they'll let old games remain in their current state and just focus on the upcoming software.

the reason we'll see a console announcement before E3 is so that they dont convolute their s*** and tbh they'll have total control of the media

I think only the best selling will get an update unfortunately, at the very least BOTW, Smash, MK8D and SMO since they have an history of updates for new hardware. Would love for link's awakening and both xenoblades to get an update, they have too good of an art style to be left behind, although i think with some games just having a stronger hardware will make them look naturally better

Xbox and PlayStation can have new games all they want but Nintendo will control the media with this new console model announcement AND THEN showing BOTW2 a week later
