Def broke thru a plateau. Not sure if it’s because I’ve being 2 sets per exercise, drinking bum energy or because I’ve been resting more 🤷
Got flu like a month ago and it f***ed up my progress tbh now im lifting like 10 pounds less its so frustrating
Same here man, its always when im at my peak too
Been cutting down on my old eating habits. Was overeating like crazy and getting sick almost all the time. Feels like my future gym days are gonna be much more enjoyable
How often y’all doing core?

Every one I was looking at was talking about some “cut the wire to customize it for your size” and I wasn’t trying to do all that s***
Found one with a lock mechanism and it’s working well

I’m just getting back into it so I can’t do any tricks yet. Haven’t jumped rope since grade school (I’m almost 28)

"core" can be done daily.
if just looking for abs, just do some machine crunches twice a week and toss some leg raises in here and there. but s*** like pallof presses, planks, side planks, suitcase carries, etc. can definitely be done high frequency imo.

lets say its a solid 3 sets of core strength training, dont i need to rest them the next day?
isnt that just strength and recovery 101?
but yeah if its simple and quick nothing wrong with activating ur core

high frequency isn't inherently wrong, it depends what your overall routine looks like.
I wouldn't recommend actual core exercises daily, but I do them nearly every training day. i refrain from doing them on days before any heavy full body compounds like squats or RDLs.
imo just toss them on a leg day twice a week
