Let Her Know from the new mix he just dropped is a certified banger/an absolute killer, but it’s also not on the new-album tracklist..
I can't...
I don't want to cry again to a James Blake album...
Radio Silence
Lullaby for my insmonciac
He makes me WEAK

Real talk - James is the only male singer that’s made me shed tears
That said, I’m glad the new album is more of a dance record 😅
Honestly these are the strongest first 2 singles of any of his albums
You sure about that?
Self-titled: Limit to Your Love & The Wilhelm Scream
Overgrown: Retrograde & Voyeur/Digital Lion
TCIA: Modern Soul & Timeless
Assume Form: Don’t Miss It & Mile High
FTBYH: Say What You Will & Life Is Not the Same
I think the singles run from Assume Form takes the cake for me.

Yeah definitely
Only self titled and overgrown compete (overgrown may be better because Retrograde is a top 3 James Blake song ever made)
The singles afterwords were not very good and Mile High might be his worst song

Damn I really like mile high but I can feel that it's the least James Blake song he ever made

Imma be honest; I never really liked that one 😣 It has that retro ‘80s sound that I would never expect of being incorporated into James’ music. When you add in the fact that LTR was co-produced by Dom Maker, it starts to make sense why the song sounds the way it does (Mount Kimbie’s last album was heavily inspired by ‘80s pop).
Now if I had to pick ONE unreleased JB song that should be released, it’s DEPEND ON YOU
New interview with Rolling Stone Japan just dropped (he’s playing a couple of shows in Japan in the coming days), and the interviewer said Playing Robots Into Heaven feels like a TOP TWO JB album

The interview contains spoilers of the new album though, so read at your own risk 😅

Woah didn't know bout the Ad Astra thing
Liking the direction of this a lot more than the previous record so far
I kinda like James more when he's in his ballad bags
Color in anything, Assume Form, Friend's that break your heart
ALL almost perfect albums to me, I liked big hammer but I need those ghouly vocals and sad soundscapes for the Fall man
minimal hype for this right now tbh and i've really enjoyed the last couple records
there's a lot dropping next week i hope it stands out

I do love Color in anything a lot and like assume form a fair bit too
But that last one was so blannd to me I felt nothing while listening to it
I like when his stuff has a good balance of straight ballad and crazy electronic stuff
album in 3 days
Is this true? I hopped in just to ask when it's coming
Where do people get James news anyways? I'm not on Twitter or ig much..

I enjoy all his work but yeah ftbyh was such a f***in let down for me. Assume form is a top 10 masterpiece and he follows it up with that??
Only like two songs I keep in rotation while assume form has 0 bland moments at all for me
