If I had my druthers, PlayStation and Xbox would die or just do cloud gaming and Nintendo would be the only real "console" left, but only once they have powerful enough hardware to play all the newest games and a non-dogshit online system

I still value controller gaming a lot, but at this point PlayStation and Xbox are just locked down PCs in a branded box. Nintendo has valuable IP and creativity, I wish that's where all controller based gaming lived.

Although letting Nintendo have zero console competition is actually a terrible idea because they would make all games and accessories cost $150 plus given that they hate their customers

personally, the jump from xbox/ps2 to ps3 didnt move me at all because pc had those graphics, arguably better graphics in a lot of cases, in like 2002. and i was on that wave off the rip.

but i liked the exclusive games on the consoles.

The Switch 2 already has genuine classics, and can play the entire switch library as well as a miriad of classic Nintendo games through the NSO service. Third party support is growing by the day.

It is the best deal in gaming, by far.

I only know one person with a Switch 2 and they're about to sell it to buy an Ayn Thor because they don't play online and the Thor just does everything better. You can even hook it up to your TV without an $80 dock and connect the controllers you already own via bluetooth or wire

The Thor is more compact, better screen, better built in controller (joy cons ) better couch co-op, plus you can play all ur non-switch stuff too
