i kinda got used to the switch 2 cases but my biggest gripe is all the text they put on the bottom of certain games it looks so ugly
really not a major complaint but it almost makes me wanna get the switch 1 version for a cleaner look
I think Nintendo was so scared of another Wii U situation they went too hard in tryna make the Switch 2 boxart look too different. I don’t mind cus the red box case and wrap around artwork goes hard
I think if they shrank the banner and text at the bottom similar to these mock ups, I don’t think anyone would hate the Switch 2 boxarts like everyone does now

Are you planning to put homebrew on it?
I have the pikachu 2DS and when you boot it up you see a Totoro and the menu is breaking bad themed
Oh she's already wide open for me
Havent added themes yet but i got theme downloaded.
Dont know how to do what you mentioned though.
Alright so the charging grip isn't needed... Alright I guess I'll then not get them since I can just charge the Nintendo Switch 2 Joy-Cons via connecting them to the Nintendo Switch 2 (Docked or not docked) and just charge them that way.
And wait you say the Nintendo Switch 2 comes with those straps? Alright no need to get them then unless I do get another pair of Joy-Cons.
And well about those cases... I guess the one for the Nintendo Switch 2 (Not docked) with the screen protector is the one I should at least get. But hmm I am at least kind of considering the All-In-One case so I can take all of the stuff I want with me instead of just the Nintendo Switch 2 without its dock, Pro controller etc.
But alright I do appreciate the help so far
The Charging Grip has two rear buttons, whereas the Grip that comes with the console does not, but you’ll be getting the NS2 Pro controller anyway, which is like a Charging Grip + Joy-Con (except it won’t charge Joy-Con obviously).
The wrist straps also aren’t needed if you’re buying Joy-Con separately since they all come with straps.
Btw is it just me or are your images from your post earlier not showing itt

I see... So the Charging Grip isn't needed right? Lol you're kind of confusing me here fam
Well I'm not buying any as long as the ones I get with the Nintendo Switch 2 keep working... But the Nintendo Switch 2 box has two of them inside it right? I mean the 2 straps of course.
They're not showing? I can see them though... But if you can't then let me know and I'll upload to Imgur and share them here.

No it’s not needed since you’ll be playing with the Pro controller anyway

Ahh it must be just me then; no need to upload them
So guys I need your help again so I don't waste my money on stuff I might not need.
So tell me if these things are worth it...
1. Charging grip
2. Joy-Con 2 straps pair
3. All-In-One case
4. Travel case (NS241)
5. Shock-proof 1680D hard-shell travel case
@Chilla @pusherTEA @Kabel @maxxing @Stardust @AKA_SB @hayabusa Help please?
I'm thinking of getting at least the charging grip and All-In-One case... And maybe the Joy-Con 2 Straps pair so far.
And that is besides this...
Which is essential to get since it also includes a screen protector.
SB and busa spitting bro. I wouldn’t get the straps or the charging grip if you’re getting the pro controller.

All you need is the carrying case with the screen protector just for extra protection since it’s a portable console that you might want to move around or bring with you. If you want a super comfortable traditional controller then consider getting the Switch 2 Pro Controller. Straps are already included with the Joycon so you won’t be needing that.
played star wars outlaws for like 2 hrs and it seems to be a great port like everyones been saying, havent experienced any frame drops or anything. handheld mode kinda looks iffy though visually but its also a consistent 30 fps
idk if this is cope but even at 30 fps it still feels smooth somehow lol, it doesnt feel like playing on an xbox 360/ps3 era game now but maybe thats the dlss / vrr trickery working

It's great imo just the actual game itself isn't that good

Yeah I guess not... But what if I do sometimes want to play with the Joy-Cons? I guess I'll see if they're needed or not when I do purchase all of the Nintendo Switch 2 stuff.
Nah it's cool I'll upload them today or tomorrow
@Chilla Yes that case with the screen protector is the one I am at least getting for sure. The others or well the All-In-One is the one I might consider getting besides the small case for the Nintendo Switch 2.
And I see well since those straps are included then no need to get another pair unless I do get more Joy-Cons.
@GoGoGadget Yes I agree... I do appreciate their input so far. But no finals decisions has been made yet. I'll now start creating a big purchase list with all of the stuff that I am getting 100 % and then see if some of the other stuff is indeed needed or not.
As well I still have some more questions and do need to do some more research before making the final decision

The Joy-Cons charge when you charge the Switch and they're attached, no need to charge them separately, if that's what u mean
looks like an N64 game
you should see what it looks like on handheld mode lmfao

If you’re playing in TV mode (or tabletop mode) and want to use Joy-Con, just hold 'em like this:
You can rest your hands & arms anyway you like while playing
And when you buy Joy-Con separately, they all come with wrist straps so you don’t need to buy any extras.
holy f*** throwback galaxy in Galaxy 2
this is why we need a new 64 game the level design is just so iconic, bring back floating open levels
Damn in a few years we might be getting a Pokémon remake featuring the first FOUR regions

This settles it; they NEVER gonna release the old classics on NSO

Easily finna be a $80 game
When diehard PKMN fans argue Game Freak are actually being generous if you consider it to be $20 per region

No I know that... But I was thinking of something else which got answered so I am good so far.
@AKA_SB Wait... So are those the straps that do come with the Nintendo Switch 2? If so... Well maybe I do need to buy those straps pair since they do look better tbh
But lol... Well I might still not do it. So I need more time to think about this before deciding what I'll get and what I won't get.

Like hayabusa said, the straps sold separately and the straps that come with the console are the exact same
Btw Yeezy I hope for your sake that the Switch 2 OLED model won’t release around the same time as the PS6 portable or home console
