aite some of these galaxy 2 levels are just rage bait
stone cyclone galaxy can get f***ed
Damn in a few years we might be getting a Pokémon remake featuring the first FOUR regions

This settles it; they NEVER gonna release the old classics on NSO
This is sort of cool, but also it’s gonna be like 80$ which is frustrating. Nintendo gets upset when people use roms/emulate, but then they don’t do the easy layup of putting their classic Mon games on NSO. Braindead.
Edit: didn’t see your later post but my point still stands.

Yeah I’m expecting the next 3D Zelda, 3D Mario, Smash Bros., Animal Crossing and gen 10 Pokémon to all be $80
Nintendo ain’t scared; look how they priced the Galaxy collection lol
Buying SW Outlaws was the tipping point for my desire to replace my LED TV with an OLED
you can tell I'm not a PS gamer
Those muddy blacks are infuriating in that game
If any of y'all europe folks got nso there's a 1 week trial of SMT V vengeance starting tomorrow. If ya love jrpgs, especially monster collecting jrpgs but are disappointed in pokémon, please give this a try its fire and its free
theres no difference its the same straps that comes inside the switch 2
Exactly the same you say? Well there's no need to buy them again then... Thanks for letting me know!
@AKA_SB Welp... Yeah it's going to be a very tough one if that indeed happens. But hmm then I gotta decide what to do and what not to do. Like if the PS6 handheld comes in the color black/midnight black then yeah I gotta get it day 1 and then see what I'll do in regards to the Nintendo Switch 2 (OLED)... But if it's white/black like the PS5/PS5 Pro and PlayStation Portal then so will I wait until the PS6 handheld is out in the color I do prefer which is black or midnight black and get the Nintendo Switch 2 (OLED) in the color the current Nintendo Switch 2 has right now day 1

Idk why I followed this thread so far back but you really need nothing aside from a pro controller as an extra accessory, assuming you don't have specific reasons for anything else

I think so far so am I getting the Nintendo Switch 2 itself, the Pro controller, the case with a screen protector and maybe the big All-In-One one that has space for the Nintendo Switch 2 itself plus other stuff... And of course so far the 1 TB MicroSD Express memory card.
And of course a lot of the exclusive 1st/2nd party Nintendo games out right now for the Nintendo Switch/Nintendo Switch 2
By the way any idea how often the 1st/2nd party Nintendo games are on sale guys? @hayabusa @Chilla @AKA_SB

Hell yeah brother
Sales are rare but seem to be more regular lately after the release. Tons of sales on great 3rd party games

nintendo 1st party games are notoriously known for not going on sale often especially if you're a digital only person (for instance, mario odyssey is currently $60 on the eshop lmao)
there is the ebay/mercari route if you want to get switch 1 games for cheap though, i bought breath of the wild & tears of the kingdom each for around $30+. mario odyssey gets the switch 2 ehancements for free and if you get the nintendo switch online + the expansion pack you get the zelda ones as well.

1st-party Switch 1 games go on sale like every season of the year now that Switch 1 is very old as a platform.
Before that, we had to rely on like only 4 established periods per year for a sale on 1st-party games (New Year Sale, Mar10 Day Sale, Summer Sale, Black Friday).
I’m only talking about official sales directly from Nintendo though; I’m sure you can find better deals than Nintendo’s (which can only go up to 30% off usually, which ain’t that great unfortunately).
As for Switch 2 games, that’s uncharted territory since the platform just started. My prediction: summer 2026 for the first official sale on 1st-party NS2 games. I would be shocked if Nintendo sanctioned any sales on NS2 games this Black Friday/holiday season..
They’re rare but they do happen

Yeah I saw it been recommended on Reddit... I hope they got an e-mail kind of service or way of been notified where they do send updates about sales of games on the Nintendo platform... As well as them been on X, Instagram etc.
@hayabusa Really? Smh... Yeah I don't buy physical games so this thing doesn't sound good to me tbh :/
@AKA_SB Hmm well I'll keep my eye on those sales for the digital versions of the 1st/2nd party Nintendo games on the eShop for the Nintendo Switch/Nintendo Switch 2. But this means me buying Nintendo games not as often as I wanted to do originally... Well I guess that's better than nothing

If you make an account on that dekudeals website, you can get email notifs when games you wishlist go on sale

Yeah thanks I did that and added a lot of games so far... And will add more later on
I also downloaded their app as well

Yup, they have a notification system fam! Just need to sign up for an account and they’ll send email notifications for whichever games you’re interested in
I’d say overall given the relative rarity of first party sales as well as the usually modest discount they do get, keeping an eye on dekudeals or on discounted eshop cards is the way to go if you don’t want to deal with physical

Yeah I made a Dekudeals account, added some games and downloaded their app as well... So it's all good now.
And well fam... Can I also add games to my wishlist on the Nintendo website? Or is that only a Nintendo Switch/Nintendo Switch 2 thing aka the eShop on the Nintendo Switch/Nintendo Switch 2?

The physical was $5 for a hot minute in New Zealand

what would be the ideal smt games to play i been meaning to get into that genre down the line

I'm in New Zealand so I'm just gonna buy any old OLED over $500 USD, learnt today that LEDs have twice as bad black rendering as a 2000s CRT
all my other devices are OLED (apart from swapping my OLED Switch for the Switch 2)

If you got a 3ds, there's plenty there. Smt IV, IV apocalypse, strange journey, Devil Survivor 1 and 2, soul hackers.
On modern platforms there's SMT nocturne, V (just get vengeance, it has both the original and the new, better story), and the recent raidou kuzunoha remaster.
The best ones id start with are nocturne and IV, they're seen as the masterpieces of the series by most of the community and i'd agree
