Can’t wait to see what 1st Party offerings Nintendo will have in store from us. That’s the only thing that hasn’t leaked: the most important part of a console, the games. I know Nintendo boutta go hard with that 1st year of Switch 2

Id love to see it, but im afraid it may be too soon. Historically we'd get a first glimpse of new Zelda 2 years after the last one, but with next gen requiring more time for development i think we won't see anything until summer 2026 at the earliest.
My wild prediction is actually we getting first a complete remake of either ocarina of time or twilight princess as a side project from the main epd 3 zelda team to showcase what can be done with new hardware, kinda what wind waker HD was at the time for the wii u, that can be seen as a stylistic inspiration for the next game's art style.

Do I wanna wait for XCX on the Switch 2 or just go ahead n get it now? Xenoblade has become my favorite jrpg outside of Dragon’s Dogma in the last 5 years. I have somewhere between 800 to 1000 hours in XC:DE, XB2, and XC3 combined.

Never owned a Wii U so never got to play XCX, and I’m a Gundam/Mecha fanboy too. So the game is being bought regardless, it’s just a question of waiting for the switch 2 or not

I think you should wait until the direct so you'll have a better idea on whether they'll update switch games and if so which ones. Although if you've played and enjoyed the other xeno games on switch this one doesnt seem to look worse

I don't really see a good reason to wait. The game comes out in less than two weeks and Switch 2 most likely isn't coming out for at least 3 months. If you get the game when it drops it'll keep you busy for a bit until the April 2 Direct where we'll learn more about the Switch 2.

Never really encountered performance issues for any Xenoblade game before. XCX3 might’ve crashed on me once or twice in 350+ hours

It’s less about issues and more about potential improvements in fps/resolution/load times.

Since X was a Wii U game it’ll be even better on Switch 1. But it’s a year 8 release so it’s likely it’s one of the games getting a boost. Your call end of the day
